SNAPSHOTS FROM WONDODDIA

There exists a parallel version of our world, not entirely unreal but delightfully offbeat. I call it Wondoddia. It’s an alternate universe I’ve discovered, filled with peculiar charm and quiet absurdity. In Wondoddia, buildings wear faces, staircases twist like tongues, and bus stops seem to be eavesdropping on passersby. It’s not quite a dreamscape or a fantasy realm, just a slightly altered version of reality where imagination has quietly remodeled the everyday.

"Snapshots from Wondoddia" is a mockumentary-style visual project in which I document these surreal yet strangely familiar places. Generated through Midjourney, each image serves as a field recording from this alternate dimension, a glimpse into what our cities and streets might become if creativity shaped their foundations.

The people in Wondoddia are mostly ordinary, but the spaces they inhabit are not. Architecture, objects, and urban infrastructure take on playful, sometimes uncanny forms. This project isn’t about escaping the world we live in but about nudging its boundaries, reshaping reality with a wink. Because really, why shouldn’t buildings grin back at us?
